130646 Erte ( Romain De Tirtoff ) Gala Performance (Ring) 14k gold, yellow sapphire, and diamonds. Signed. The ring measures 1 1/8" at its widest point. Erte had a great love of the threatre and was fascinated as much by the dresses of the audience on opening night as he was with the costumes worn on stage. This ring was inspired by a fashion drawing Erte did in 1919 and later recreated as a serigraph of the same title.
