131449 Erte ( Romain De Tirtoff ) Alouette Ring (State I) size 6 1/2 approx, 7/8" width of design 14k gold, pave diamonds, mother of pearl, and blue topaz. Signed. Erte's lifelong concern with harmony of form and color in nature is brought together in this ring. The lark rising to the sky at daybreak was the inspiration for this ring. The sky is echoed in blue topaz, sun is represented by the gold, a starry sky by the pave diamonds, and the moon by lustrous mother-of-pearl.
