Signed in pencil lower right and annotated 'O.' One of 26 proofs reserved for the artist annotated with alphabet letters (an edition of 100 examples also exits, 1-75 annotated in Arabic numerals and 76-100 in Roman numerals, 20 copies on Japanese nacre paper numbered in Roman numerals reserved for the artist also exist). Published by Alain C. Mazo, Paris. A deluxe book edition (containing 12 lithographs) of 120 examples, signed on the colophon aslo exists. The section of the text which accompanies this image reads: "Love is a god, my children. He is young, beautiful and winged; that is why he delights in youth, seeks beauty and ravishes souls, having greater power than Jupiter himself."
