Signed in the plate lower right. From the second printing of 1,000 examples from the book, "La Vie et l'Oeuvre de Pierre Auguste Renoir" or “The Life and Work of Pierre Auguste Renoir." 525 were also published in L. Roger-Miles, Art et Nature, Paris, Boudet, 1897. 'La Vie et l'Oeuvre de Pierre Auguste Renoir' was produced with Ambroise Vollard, 1919, hard-cover volume of 262 pages with table of contents and glossary index. The original book included a Moroccan half-calf hard cover, perfect bound spine, decorated gilded case with gilded titles with preserved cover by Thierry Simier.
