231650 Sport Memorabilia Ali Time Line Collage 1942-1996 Career Commemorative Trunks 2008 39'' x 39'' Muhammad Ali collage consisting of Everlast boxing trunks hand-signed by Muhammad Ali in ink and a panoramic time line photograph of Ali's boxing career from 1942-1996. From a limited edition of 495. An example of this hand-signed limited edition collage is in the permanent collection on display in the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky. The trunks have been signed exclusively for Park West Gallery. At the age of 18, Cassius Clay, after 108 amateur bouts, 6 Kentucky Golden Gloves championships, 2 National Golden Gloves championships and 2 National AAU titles, earned a spot on the US Olympic boxing team. During the Summer Olympics of 1960, he burst onto the world stage by winning the light-heavyweight gold medal for the United States. When these trunks were signed by Muhammad Ali each were digitally photographed by OnlineAuthentics and assigned unique OnlineAuthentics numbers for each hand signature. The date of the signing and the unique signatures are contained on the OnlineAuthentics website. The unique OnlineAuthentics numbers which have been placed on the trunks enable the owner to verify the authenticity of the hand signature of Muhammad Ali on the OnlineAuthentics website. Since no two hand signatures can ever be exactly alike, the unique numbered digital registration of each Ali hand signature on the OnlineAuthentics website is the only certain way that a hand signature by Muhammad Ali on any object can be assured of authenticity.
