230727 Sport Memorabilia Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier Arguing 2007 16'' x 20'' Black and white photograph. Hand-signed by Muhammad Ali and numbered in gold ink From a limited edition of 50 works numbered in Arabic. An example of this photograph is in the permanent collection of the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky. These works have been signed exclusively for Park West Gallery. The original photograph was taken on December 30, 1970. With fingers pointing Muhammad Ali claims he is the true champion, and Joe Frazier, the recognized heavyweight titleholder, engage in a shouting match during a contract signing ceremony here December 30th. The two agreed to meet March 8th at Madison Square Garden to settle the matter in a bout that is assured of being the richest one-shot sporting event in history. According to OnlineAuthentics, only 50 examples of this photograph are known to exist which Muhammad Ali has signed by hand.
